Rub
Italian Seasoning for Grilling
1.6 oz. tin
Bring a vibrant rebirth of flavor to
Italian cooking and grilling with our Renaissance Rub—a
harmonious and herbaceous blend of oregano, rosemary, and
garlic punctuated by sesame seeds, hot red pepper, sweet
sun-dried tomato bits, and lemon zest. Savor la dolce vita
of simple Tuscan grilling by rubbing everything from
calamari and chicken to thick steaks and garden-fresh
zucchini with Renaissance Rub. Blend into pasta sauces,
salad vinaigrettes, and marinades, or strew over pizza and
flatbreads.
How to use: Rub one tablespoon
Renaissance Rub into each pound of uncooked food before
grilling, broiling, or baking. Use in place of Italian
seasoning in other favorite recipes.
Ingredients: Rosemary, sesame seed, red
pepper, oregano, minced garlic, dried tomato, lemon peel.

Garden Rub
Seasoning for Vegetables and Greens

Fresh vegetables,
from asparagus to zucchini, are simply sensational when
grilled, and taste even more fabulous when rubbed with our
Garden Rub—a minty Mediterranean mélange flecked with
fennel and red pepper. Going from the garden to the grill
has never been more tempting!
How to use: Brush
fresh vegetables lightly with olive oil and sprinkle
liberally with Garden Rub before grilling, roasting, or
sautéing. Add salt to taste, if desired. Use to season
vinaigrettes too.
Ingredients: Thyme,
oregano, chives, mint, red bell pepper, Malabar pepper,
fennel seed.
Indian recipes often intimidate with long lists of
required seasonings. Raj Rub comes to the rescue by
carefully balancing turmeric, coriander, cumin, and fiery
red chilies with sweet cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, exotic
coconut, fenugreek and nigella seeds. Perfect for making
curries without worries or trouble-free tandoors.
How to use:
For grilling, rub each pound of uncooked food with 1-2
tablespoons Raj Rub. For tandoori marinades, combine two
tablespoons Raj Rub with each cup plain yogurt. For other
recipes, such as curries, add to taste.
